About old homestead campground
Nestled in the wide-open mountain valley known as North Park, Old Homestead Campground sits on 88 acres surrounded by sweeping Rocky Mountain views, expansive skies, and quiet, untamed beauty. We’re located in the small town of Rand, approximately three hours northwest of Denver International Airport—a truly remote setting ideal for an intentional wedding retreat. After sitting dormant for nearly 15 years, we purchased the campground and proudly reopened it to the public in May of 2025. Today, we’re thoughtfully restoring the land, renovating our historic log-built lodge, and making intentional updates to create a one-of-a-kind Rocky Mountain wedding experience. Together with Old Homestead Lodge and Events, we look forward to hosting weddings starting in the summer of 2026 and are currently taking bookings for 2026 and 2027.

Choose from two stunning outdoor ceremony sites with mountain views—one near the river for an intimate setting, and another with sweeping panoramic vistas. Celebrate your rehearsal dinner, welcome gathering, or reception in our historic log-built lodge, with space out front for cocktail hour. We have an open vendor policy and offer flexible timelines for your special day. Fire pits, river access, and abundant outdoor spaces ensure your wedding day (or weekend!) is filled with connection, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
A customized wedding day just for you
You and your guests can have the full mountain retreat experience with our on-site lodging. We proudly offer 13 cabins, a newly renovated bath house, 10 full hookup RV sites, and 5 tent sites. Our cabins can sleep up to 60 guests. Learn more about our on-site accommodations here:
